The first of ASPE’s socials!

Sciences Po Environnement had a social gathering at Café Monde et Medias last Saturday March 15^th. Guests included active ASPE members and friends, where discussions over the association’s latest projects (sorting agreement, partir vert, cooking classes) were discussed over delicious spinach cheesecakes, lentil salads, and tarte tatin.

The first of a series of social brunches and dinners to come, lunch at Café Monde et Medias was fun as it was informative- new members got a chance to share their ideas and everyone made new friends! Each week, or every fortnight, restaurants and cafes around the theme of sustainability (i.e. organic restaurants, vegan, local) will be chosen to host the socials, so please join us if you would ever like to take a break from studying, get involved, or to just see some new faces!

In all, the social was a great way for members to become more involved and to promote a greater sense of camaraderie within the large association, through smaller gatherings in an informal and relaxed setting.

Next week, a casual lunch at Loving Hut, a vegetarian and vegan friendly restaurant in the 11è, will be held.
